These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of southfloridahomeinvestorscorp.com (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by South Florida Home Investors Corp (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting a form on it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About Us and What the Site Is For

South Florida Home Investors Corp is an investor-owned home remodeling and real estate investment company serving the entire state of Florida. The Site describes our services, shows examples of completed work, and gives you a way to contact us. It is informational and is not an offer, a contract, or a guarantee of any result, price or timeline.

Project Examples, Budgets and Timelines

Photos, project scopes, budgets and completion times shown on the Site describe work we actually completed on specific properties. They are historical examples only. Every property is different, and material prices, labor availability, permitting and property conditions change. Nothing on the Site is a quote. Pricing and schedule are only binding when they appear in a written proposal or contract signed by both parties.

Licensing and Permitted Work

Work that requires a license or a permit is performed or supervised by appropriately licensed and insured professionals, including general contractors, roofing, HVAC, electrical, window and exterior door contractors, and engineers, as the scope requires. Any statement on the Site about permits, code violations, after-the-fact permits or lien reduction describes our general experience as investors and is not legal advice. Outcomes with municipalities and code enforcement boards vary and are never guaranteed.

Real Estate Transactions

We buy and sell real estate as principals for our own account. We are not acting as your real estate broker, agent or fiduciary, and we do not represent you in a transaction unless we have agreed to in writing. Any offer to purchase a property is subject to inspection, title review and a written purchase agreement. You are encouraged to seek independent legal, tax and real estate advice before signing anything.

Contacting Us and Consent to Communications

When you submit a form or otherwise give us your contact information, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message (SMS or iMessage) and email at the number and address you provide, about your inquiry, project or property.

• Calls and texts are made personally by a member of our team from a standard mobile phone. We do not use autodialers, prerecorded messages, or mass texting systems.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
• Reply STOP to stop text messages, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop by phone or email at any time.
• Consent is not a condition of doing business with us.

Accuracy of Information You Provide

You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that the phone number and email address you provide are yours or that you are authorized to give them to us. Please do not submit another person’s contact information without their permission, and do not send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or health information through the Site.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

The Site links to and uses third-party services, including Google advertising and measurement tools and our customer relationship management provider. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information on it is complete or current. This section applies to the Site only and does not limit any warranty contained in a signed construction or purchase contract.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, South Florida Home Investors Corp and its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or business, arising out of your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). Liability arising from work we perform is governed by the written contract for that work, not by these Terms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless South Florida Home Investors Corp from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. They do not replace or modify any signed proposal, construction contract or purchase agreement, which controls in the event of a conflict.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
